You CANNOT use household mirrors in telescopes.
Household mirrors are flat, whereas telescope mirrors need to be round, so they can reflect the light to the eyepeices.
No. Household mirrors have flat planar surfaces. Telescope reflector mirror are curve to have a focal point.
No they are not flat for two different reasons. Telescope mirrors are generally concave mirrors, and since they are concave they have the ability to “focus” light. A flat mirror would not work, and the more important factor is this.
The mirrors in your house are just regular glass with a reflective surface on the back of the glass. So light actually has to pass through the glass before it reaches the reflective surface, and then after it reflects it has to pass through the glass again. As light passes through the glass it slows down because glass has a different refractive index than air. On a curved (or concave) mirror this would create all kinds of problems……….So mirrors that are going to be used in telescopes for observing will have the reflective surface on the FRONT of the mirror, so light does not have to pass through another medium (glass) at all before being reflected.
lol, telescope mirror look like this : () or )(
while house mirrors look like this: II
No.
Reflectors have two mirrors in them, the primary mirror, and the secondary mirror.
Both of them are silvered on the front portion of the mirror so the light doesn’t have to travel through the glass to be reflected. Regular house hold mirrors are back silvered, and the light does have to travel through the glass. This would cause chromatic aberration and loss of reflected light in a telescope.
The primary mirror on a reflector is shaped slightly like a bowl. This is called concave. In most reflectors this shape is a parabola, but in some types of reflecting telescopes, it’s spherical. In either case, the shape of the primary has to meet exact specifications for the light to be reflected properly.
The mirrors also have to be free of any microscopic defects.
More akin to your cosmetic mirrors that magnify, with the exception of a more precise grind, and type of coatings.
no… a typical cosmetic mirror is not engineered to be especially accurate (which is why some mirrors make you look skinnier/fatter than you are)… they are also not shaped/curved properly to achieve any reasonable reflection/refraction into a lense
Sylvester is a JavaScript library designed to let you do mathematics with vectors and matrices without having to write lots of loops and throw piles of arrays around. It includes classes for modelling vectors and matrices in any number of dimensions, and for modelling infinite lines and planes in 3-dimensional space. It lets you write object-oriented easy-to-read code that mirrors the maths it represents. For example, it lets you multiply vectors together:

It is for the first time that this sample code project breaks into top 20 of the CodePlex community, exceeding many well-known open source projects such as .NET Reflector AddIn, and ranking 19th among 13,433 open source projects based on past 7-day downloads!
It’s a great payoff to every individuals in the project group and all partners for their hard work and strong support of the endeavor. It’s also a brilliant birthday gift for All-In-One Code Framework as she will be 1-year-old very soon.
what shit this is
lets say i have a 70mm telescope, is there a way for me to have it see farther if i were to change the lenses?
cuz science attack there regilion lol i hate religion am a man od sciences
MACGyver had got something similar
Hugh Pickens writes “Science Daily reports that using the United Kingdom Infrared Telescope (UKIRT) in Hawaii, astronomers have discovered what may be the coolest sub-stellar body ever found outside our own solar system. Too small to be stars and with insufficient mass to maintain hydrogen-burning nuclear fusion reactions in their cores, ‘brown dwarfs’ have masses smaller than stars but larger than gas giant planets like Jupiter, with an upper limit in between 75 and 80 Jupiter masses. ‘This looks like the fourth time in three years that the UKIRT has made a record breaking discovery of the coolest known brown dwarf, with an estimated temperature not far above 200 degrees Celsius,’ says Dr. Philip Lucas at the University of Hertfordshire. Due to their low temperature these objects are very faint in visible light, and are detected by their glow at infrared wavelengths. The object known as SDSS1416+13B is in a wide orbit around a somewhat brighter and warmer brown dwarf, SDSS1416+13A,…

Whenever one nation is victorious over another, the victor has to rule at least temporarily in place of the defeated country. Usually they simply take over the government of the defeated nation. Usually they employ overwhelming force and massive numbers of troops to gain and maintain control.
The unusual aspect of this situation is that the US and its allies do not actually want to rule Iraq. They wanted to remove the Saddam Hussein regime and set up an independent democratic government. They have tried to turn the conflict over to Iraqis as much as possible.

I have read the FAQs and checked for similar issues: YES My site’s URL is: http://www.katom.com Description (including timeline of any changes made): The Google WMT is reporting that there is 25K pages indexed and when I do site:www.katom.com, it only shows 3030 pages. I understand these are only estimates, but our organic traffic from Google has been dropping about 10% a week in the last 3 weeks. We noticed last week that we had 3 sitemaps with same urls on our site under the All option. We removed 2 of them from our site, but we can’t removed the sitemap submission as they were not submitted from us originally. According to one of the Google Employees, as long as the sitemap is not on our site, google will eventually stop crawling it. We dont know how long they have been running on our site as we have used various consultants to help us with our SEO. Could that cause Duplicate content and essentially affect our pages index to drop over the past 6 months. We have a PR of 3 and most of our…

If you have one dish, then the direction it sees paints one pixel, with the resolution of the dish. You'd have to steer the dish, pointing in different directions, to paint the entire picture one pixel at a time.
If you have an array of dishes, you can use electronic steering to combine the data from them and move the direction in which the array is pointing electronically. This is done by adding a phase shift (a delay) to the signals from the different dishes. You still have to steer to paint one pixel at a time, but you don't have to physically move the dish to do so.

I'd also love for more devices to start supporting USB On-the-Go or some similar wired spec.
