I have a grinded telescope mirror, now which side should I Aluminize? the inner concave side or the rear Flat?

what should be the procedure of aluminizing? does it match the ordinary mirror making technique? or I have to coat the Aluminium only on inner parabolic side and no need for hard protective coating (brown in color, usually found on back of Ordinary mirrors)
