JWST Sunshield Lead Structural Analysis – ST / 097325
“Global temperatures could be brought back to pre-industrial levels by blasting trillions of lenses into space, astronomers claim. The team, from the University of Arizona, plans to fire the lenses a million miles above Earth to form a 100,000 square mile ’sun shade’ that diverts the sun’s rays. The huge Space Sunshield would be 62,000 miles long and have a height roughly equal to Earth’s diameter – 8,000 miles. It would protect the Earth from 1.8 per cent of the sun’s rays – enough to mitigate the effects of climate change, scientists believe.
The ambitious and controversial project, led by astronomer Dr Roger Angel, is expected to take 20 or 30 years.”

cont-If something had a start stage-then what was there just before it started? what started it?dont tell me it doesnt have to be like that because common sense tells us that every single thing we see infront of us had a start-humans,animals, i mean what the heck the kyboard i am using had a start!!So what started the big bang?Anyhow knoweledge is the key to everything-Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) said that seek knowledge and you shall find the truth. anyhoo sorry 4 calling u an idiot! Peace

RT RT The Earth spins at 1,000 mph but it travels through space at an incredible 67,000 mph. #WTFfact
is that a question or a statement?
I would recommend a reflecting telescope. They have much more light gathering capability that let you see fainter objects and they do not suffer from what's called chromatic aberration. Chromatic aberration is where visible light at one end of the spectrum bends at a different angle than light at the other end, causing different shades to focus at different points. This is a problem with refracting telescopes since they refract or bend light. Also, many companies try to boast magnification power, but you want the best resolving power. It will let you focus (resolve) objects at greater distances. I would suggest orion telescopes. They are very well built, even better than meade or celestrons of their same price. I just bought the skyquest dobsonian with a 4.5 inch mirror and it is awsome. No complaints. But then again, it all depends on what you want to spend. If you want a descent reflecting telescope you're looking at about $200, but it's worth the extra money instead of buying a cheaper one that will simply not suffice.
Paris, France (ESA) Jul 27, 2009 – On 11 July the qualification model of the Gaia Deployable Sunshield Assembly (DSA) was installed inside the Large Space Simulator (LSS) at the ESTEC test facilities in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. Over the coming days the DSA will undergo a thermal vacuum and thermal balance test in simulated space conditions. The LSS is the only facility in Europe large enough to perform this test.
Wow – you are one confused cookie.
I get the impression that, despite whatever factual information anyone gives you on here, you have already made your mind up that there is something weird going on.
There isn't.
In a nutshell :
Shuttle accidents were totally unrelated and the causes have been identified. There just happens to be seven astronauts manning a shuttle – so what – the Apollo missions had three, so you could just as easily read something mystic into the deaths associated with Apollo 1 (bet you didn't know about this one did you?). As for the fire shaped like a scorpion – c'mon!
Yes – there are, as far as we know, nine planets in the solar system. Star exploration is possible in theory if we can overcome the problem of the vast distances involved.
Read a few books and/or a few websites to find out about the science that proves all of the above.
Then – your off the wall – did the world war ever happen. Try talking to a few soldiers or civilians who lived through it – but you probably don't get out much, do you?
I wouldn't mind Lincecum, Webb or Volquez starting because they are all tremendous pitchers. However I would rather see Lincecum or Volquez because they have just such electric stuff.
I think Hurdle said Webb will start because he is sick and tired of him owning the Rockies'
Either way, I wouldn't mind any 3 of them starting. I hope I'll see all three during the course of the game anyways.

got sick at my friends but we party the night away. did you know that if you get low in front of a mirror, ludacris will appear? lol
i have used all sorts of things, white card board, sunsheild relectors, boards painted white/silver and gold. really anything will do, and anything will do alot better than nothing.
as above watch out for creases,

gawd its called ‘robots’ not the humans r dead. also it is so good bowie! gosh.
Im gonna buy one, please tell me, which telescope is better for viewing celestial objects? which one gives the best images? The Maede Lightbridge 8” truss- tube Dobsonian or the Orion SkyQuest XT8 Dob?? Please answer, I can’t decide between the two…
