In this edition we mix the dental stone and pour it into the mold. Once it has set we remove the dam around the mold, inspect the tool and place it into an oven to cure.

The anthropology class I took said the most common reason for founding new villages was politics. The second son doesn't get along with the first son who is going to inherit, the parents disapprove of the marriage, one religious leader decides the others are too corrupt and incorrect in their teachings, that sort of thing.
For myself, I don't get along with the local culture, don't trust our politicians, want to move to a lower elevation, and just plain like learning new territory. But notice, I haven't left yet. Still, when space is opened to settlement, whether on the moon or in the asteroid belt, I'm out of here.

I would just ask around to local dental offices. When I went to schooling i wanted to learn more, because we didn't get certified, and I wasn't able to get a job, so I volunteered for a dental office in town. I just went into his office, let the receptionist know what I was doing, left my resume and left. He called the next day thrilled that I was willing to volunteer, and eventually hired me on. It was great.

Sometimes, but it’s really much faster for me to just open up the phone book and find it. Also, I’m not always online so the book is faster then. The fact that the local phone book is less than an inch thick probably helps, too.

Fifty years ago, it used to be very common for people to make their own telescopes. Nowadays it has become very rare, because commercial telescopes have become relatively inexpensive. One result of this is that it is very hard to find the parts needed to build your own scope. Unless you have a very strong motivation to learn how to do this, and to track down the parts needed, I wouldn't recommend building your own scope. Because the parts are hard to find, they are very expensive, and a home made telescope will cost many times more than a commercially built telescope. Labour is so much cheaper in China where almost all telescopes are made nowadays.
